This second quarter of learning, I've learned way more than during the first quarter! We have been doing even more complicated activities but I am still enjoying it. I'm very impressed with how organized I am and how my brain can handle so many new topics. Ma'am Evelyn is an amazing teacher who I have grown to love already.

   I learned to identify different purposes of each HTML tags. Especially applying font attributes, image attributes, hyperlink, formatting tags, and adding background color which I enjoyed and satisfies me everytime I see the results of my work. 

   I had difficulties in doing HTML activities because I only use my phone to edit my HTML files. But on the brighter side, I was still capable of coping up with the lessons with the help of internet and by asking my classmates. I have also noticed that when doing other assessments of some sort I am more relaxed this quarter than the previous quarter of learning. But sometimes I messed up and preoccupied with other stuff resulting to not understanding some concepts, so I would like to improve my focusing skills. 

   My next steps to becoming an amazing student is to always try my hardest and never give up. Padayon!

Quality Education, Amidst a Pandemic?

         The Department of Education (DepEd) managed to implement the "Blended Learning Method" as a new method of learning caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite this, millions of students are still able to enroll in the country this school year. But a lot of students are also unable to enroll because they do not have enough money or not ready to keep up with the new mode of study. The government chose to pursue the opening of classes without adequate equipment, preparation, and support.  Even before the COVID-19 pandemic, we felt the learning crisis in our country.         There are things we do not expect and can prevent from happening. Such as various disasters like earthquakes, hurricanes, volcanic eruptions, landslides, tsunamis, wars, let us also include a pandemic and other catastrophic events that can take many lives. All we can do is prepare for it because nowadays the catastrophes are not expected by anyone. But we have to accept that this is already part of our lives and the only thing that can be done is to be prepare at all times.    Many have lost their lives, lost their loved ones, and property was damaged due to typhoon ondoy that hit the Philippines in September 2009 and followed by typhoon Yolanda in Leyte.
