Festivals and fiesta has been part of Filipino culture being celebrated in every town and every year. One of the most popular ones is the Vigan Town Fiesta.
Each year on January 25, the Vigan City Fiesta is held in honour of St. Paul the Apostle which is the city's patron saint. In previous years, a lot of tourists and locals gather to witness the presentations or shows prepared by the government and the people of Vigan. Vigan Town Fiesta is composed of arts and crafts exhibits, carnivals, street dancing performances, and other vivacious performances that celebrate the spirit of Vigan's cityhood.
But this year, it is no longer the usual festive celebration in Vigan due to the pandemic caused by COVID-19. Because the traditional celebration of the festival is against health protocols to prevent the spread of the virus.
Despite all of this, Vigan City celebrated this year's town fiesta through thanksgiving to our Lord for the blessings and grace He gave and showered us.

Safety comes first. Nice blog!!
