I can finally be at ease after having a hard time in adjusting on this new mode of learning for the past few months. For the last chapter of my student life as a Junior High School, I guess it is  safe to say that I've learned a handful and gained knowledge which for will surely help me in my journey as a Senior High School student.     Blogging taught me a lot of things that were new to me before. I also had the chance to share my insights and ideas for the topic we are assigned to do every week. Though sometimes, I have no knowledge on the topic so I had to search on the web to further understand it which served as an eye-opener. Also, I learned a lot about the basics of web design.      It still felt surreal that we are almost completing ...

Value of Freedom

Image
The Independence Day Philippines is commemorated every June 12. After hundreds of years under the Spanish rule, Emilio Aguinaldo has waved the Philippine flag for the very first time and declared independence in Kawit, Cavite.    Independence Day Philippines is one of the most important events celebrated in the country because after more than 300 years of being under the Spanish rule, the Pearl of the Orient Seas has been freed.    Celebrating a happy independence day every June 12 in the Philippines is important to the Filipino people because this is the time where the country has gained independence from the hundreds of years of colonialism.   Image retrieved at  http://www.ilocandiatreasures.com/2010/08/viva-vigan-binatbatan-festival-of-arts.html?m=1     Vigan City, Ilocos Sur, a famous city that’s been preserved in time. A street plan of traditional Hispanic style. The Calle Crisilogo as its main alley, has structures that are built of brick and wood which is a traditional Chinese architecture. Survived

Image retrieved at  https://www.shutterstock.com/search/3rd+quarter    Another quarter has passed and I barely survived with this new mode of learning amid pandemic. Though I enjoyed our topic for this quarter which is 'Community-based research' because it's somewhat related or inclined with my interests. I see myself as an excited and avid learner motivated by understanding the unknown. I loved exploring the world using my imagination, literature and by getting my hands dirty. I loved questioning how things worked by interrogating and disturbing seemingly complex systems. It is said that all children are born with curious minds. I believe curiosity is an innate aspect of childhood that drives the learning process.    This quarter of learning in ICT made be realized that it is the interaction between a subject and its environment which is fundamental to the process of learning. However, in addition to this, I believed that learning deeply involves asking questio...
